The DC Queer Alliance invites you to Just One of the Guys: Trans Men's Inclusion, Advocacy and Empowerment Within the Gay, Bi, and Queer Men's Health Movement. This event takes place Wednesday June 10th at Whitman Walker Clinic, 1701 14th St, NW starting at 7:00 PM.

Do you care about gay, bi, and queer trans men's health? So do we. Join us in putting together the District's first community meeting discussing the inclusion, advocacy, and empowerment of gay, bi, & queer trans men within the greater gay, bi, & queer men's health movement.

In early 2009, several trans and non-trans guys came together to form the DC Queer Alliance with the common goal of organizing quarterly, community-led events for both trans and non-trans gay, bi and queer men to talk about our commonalities and debunk the many myths that surround us and our communities.

Our group is community-led and driven - there is no leader or political agenda. We simply want to build a stronger community by encouraging healthy dialogue on issues that impact all of our lives - issues like accessing competent healthcare, body image, forced outings, navigating bathrooms, cruising, mental health and wellness along with partner and relationship issues.
